In May 2022, Fine Tree Service was called upon to remove a massive fallen cottonwood tree in Loveland, CO. This was no ordinary tree—it held the title of the largest diameter tree in Colorado and was recognized as a state champion.
When this cottonwood toppled, it presented a significant challenge due to its immense size and weight. Our team carefully executed a strategic removal process, utilizing specialized equipment to safely cut and clear the trunk and sprawling branches.
This project showcased our expertise in large-scale tree removal and reinforced our commitment to serving the community with precision, safety, and care. While it was bittersweet to see such a legendary tree fall, we were honored to be part of its story and help restore safety to the area.

Over 200 million Ash trees have already died nation wide. Ash Borer has spread outside of Boulder with confirmed infestation in Longmont and Lyons. Experts predict 99% of all untreated Ash species to be killed within infected areas. Treatments are proven to be effective and only protected trees remain alive in infected areas.
